Audio Design GmbH was founded in Kronau / North Baden in 1984 as a speaker manufacturer. Since 1989 we have devoted ourselves exclusively to the conception, development and sale of high-quality car hi-fi components and aftermarket products. As the owner of the HiFonics and Crunch brands in Germany, Austria and Switzerland as well as the ESX and Renegade brands worldwide, the company has now positioned itself very successfully as a manufacturer.

Together with the famous sales brands Rockford Fosgate, Autotek and MB Quart, Audio Design offers an extensive portfolio of products and works very closely with the respective manufacturers of these brands. Since 2013, Audio Design GmbH has been developing and selling vehicle-specific infotainment naviceivers for almost all common vehicle types, including an extensive range of accessories, under the brand ESX - Car Media Systems. Since 2015, the focus has also been on motorhomes and automotive-quality products. In 2018, Audio Design successfully established the Musway brand in the field of DSP and vehicle integration. Meanwhile, Musway is considered a high-class provider for high-end sound and inspires with advanced technologies and a comprehensive product portfolio.

As a leading international car audio specialist, Audio Design specializes in designing and optimizing products for the European market. All devices are subjected to extensive tests in the laboratory and in vehicles until a product meets the respective criteria in order to be included in the offer. The palette ranges from CE testing, EMC compatibility and RoHS compatibility to sound tuning in vehicles via DSP solutions and software design.

For years, Audio Design GmbH has been presenting its brands and products at trade fairs and events such as the IAA, Caravan Salon, CMT, Auto Messe Salzburg, Essen Motor Show and other well-known events in the segments of technology & infotainment, car audio and tuning all over Europe.
